Good Cheer Food bank is here for anyone that lives on the south end of Whidbey Island (in Greenbank or south). If you find yourself in a situation where you don’t have enough resources to feed yourself and your family, Good Cheer is here for you. There are no additional eligibility requirements to access services.
The food bank is set up as a grocery store so you are able to choose the food and personal care items that are right for you. Shelves are stocked with fresh produce, pantry staples, and products that meet special diets. All items in the food bank are “priced” with points. Each household gets a specific amount of points based on the number of people to “spend” on the specific items they need. Points are issued on the first of the month and can be used for the entire month. You can come as often as you need until you are out of points. Leftover points do not roll over to the next month.
If you are not able to visit the food bank during our hours of operation, Good Cheer is still here for you.
